Those are the sentiments of Naisoso Island Managing Director, Bob Lowres who has invested millions of dollars in Fiji.
He said the negative reports in the overseas media should not deter the investors as they should come and see the situation themselves.
The completion of the multi-million dollar Naisoso Island project will see more than $70 million injected into the country’s economy.
Managing Director Naisoso Island, Bob Lowres said that they are currently planning the next stage of the works on Naisoso Island in the Resort Lots and is in current discussion with major Hotel Operators for the Apartment Hotel and 5 Star Hotel sites.
Lowres said this will generate jobs for more than 1,500 local people.
It is intended to commence the civil works for the Resort Lots in October this year and commence the building works for the Apartment Hotel in the New Year.
He said in the coming weeks they will be making further announcements of exciting milestones including the appointment of the Management Rights for the Residential Estate and security contracts.
