Newcastle Knights fill-in destroyer Kevin Naiqama said he is ready to do it again against the Sydney Roosters on Saturday night.

Naiqama was called into the side on the eve of the match against Melbourne after winger James McManus withdrew with a lower-leg stress fracture.

Knights head coach Wayne Bennett said although Naiqama featured in just his fifth game of the season, he looked like a first grade regular as he terrorized the Melbourne Storm’s right defensive edge.

Akuila Uate and Kevin Naiqama are expected to feature for the Knights against Sonny Bill Williams’ Sydney Roosters at 9.45pm this Saturday in the preliminary finals.

In the other preliminary final, the South Sydney Rabbitohs will meet the Manly Sea Eagles this Friday at 9.45pm.
