The President of the Fiji Law Society Dorsami Naidu is refusing to pay court costs to the amount of $12,100.

He had been served with court papers demanding the payment.

Enforcement costs were granted to the State as a result of Naidu's failed application when he was representing Angie Heffernan in her case in 2007 and last year.

The Solicitor General Christopher Pryde said a writ had been served to Naidu telling him to make the payment by last Friday however the payment has not been made.

Pryde said they will leave no stone unturned to recover the court costs owned by Naidu as court orders need to be respected and the President of Fiji Law Society is no exception.

Meanwhile, Dorsami Naidu said he is not willing to pay.
