Jasper Williams High School long distance runner Mereseini Naidau will once again spearhead Jasper’s Lautoka Zone and Coca Cola games title defence this year.
Naidau recorded impressive times in their inter-house in the 3,000 and 1500 metres.
Team Manager Antonio Rabuiliku said another outstanding athlete is Intermediate girls runner, Meresiana Vukici who will run in the 400 and 800 metres.
The Lautoka Zone will be held this Friday and Saturday at the Natabua High School grounds.
The Coca Cola Games will be held on the 24th and 25th of next month at the ANZ Stadium.
The other zones that will be held this Thursday and Friday are Savusavu, Taveuni, Nadi, Tavua Vatukoula, Macuata 1 and 2, Nadroga and Triple N.
