One of our own will be given special recognition at the FIFA Congress in Hungry this week.
Veteran football administrator and former referee, Hari Raj Naicker will be given a special award by FIFA for serving the soccer governing body for over 50 years as a referee and a referees instructor.
This is the second time someone from the Fiji Football Association is being recognized with such dignity. Mohammed Yusuf also received special recognition from FIFA a few years ago.
Fiji FA's Acting President, Sheik Ibrahim said this recognition should be used as an inspiration for others.
