Fiji born Auckland rugby winger Waisake Naholo has been called into the All Blacks Sevens training squad preparing for next week’s Gold Coast 7s tournament.
Naholo will replace Gillies Kaka who is out with a shoulder injury.
The players will train over the next couple of days before Coach Sir Gordon Tietjens names his squad on Thursday.
New Zealand is pooled with USA, Kenya and Tonga while Fiji will play Wales, Canada and Portugal.
The Gold Coast 7s will be held next Saturday and Sunday.
