Making a return to the international sevens scene after two years will not be a disadvantage for victorious Nadroga captain, Nemani Nagusa.

Nagusa is ready to bring something fresh and positive to a national sevens team which he says can still do well without him.

He says the team has thoroughly followed their training program and have no excuses to do their best in the Dubai and Cape Town 7s.

Nemani Nagusa has been brought into the national sevens team to fill the big shoes of Semi Kunatani who is expected to join the team after the first leg of the series.

Fiji will meet Canada in their first pool match of the Dubai 7s at 6pm next Friday.

They will then take on Japan at 9pm next Friday before facing Argentina at 3.28am next Saturday.

South Africa is the defending champion of the Dubai 7s.
