Naevo/Ryder in HK Training Squad
Coach Josateki Savou said that the three players are tied up with their club contracts but they have shown their commitment to be part of the training squad.
France based Filimoni Bolavucu is another player that the selectors are contacting to try and see if he will be available for Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, defending Darwin 7s champion, Drifters under the leadership of former national 7s coach Waisale Serevi will travel to Australia next week.
The side has been winning the Darwin 7s tournament for the past two years and this year is likely to include Lepani Nabuliwaqa, Jone Koroduadua and some other top Suva reps.
This also means that the players who travel to Australia with Serevi will miss out on the Fiji team selection as they will not play in the BP Oil National 7s.
Next week's National 7s will be the selection ground for the 25 member training squad for the Hong Kong 7s and the 12 member team to Wellington and San Diego will also be named.
