Japan based " Man Mountain" Semisi Naevo will be out to create history for his Nawaka club in the 32nd Fiji Bitter Marist 7's on the 7th and 8th of next month.
Speaking to Village Sports, Marist 7's organiser Vili Rauca said the former national 7's captain will lead Nawaka to try and secure their third consecutive win in the tournament, a feat which no other team has achieved. Rauca adds that the likes of Raymond Rodan and Norman Ligairi will be also part of the team.
While alot of talks has said on which club William Ryder will be playing for, Rauca confirms Ryder could team up with Rupeni Caucau in the City Eagles team which is captained by Waisale Serevi.
More than 96 clubs have shown their interest to be part of the richest tournament in Fiji which received a boost today with a $32,000 sponsorship from Fosters Group.
The winner of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7's will walk away with the $10,000 prize-money.
