The Nadroga Rugby Union said they will now just wait for the Fiji Rugby Union to decide on their appeal in relation to FRU’s decision to award Naitasiri the default win in the Digicel Cup competition.
President Tiko Matawalu said if the decision does not go in their favor, then they will take some other steps which he cannot reveal at this stage.
He added a rematch can be an option if there is no other way out.
Meanwhile, the FRU maintained its decision to award Naitasiri the default win.
Senior Operations Officer Aporosa Tuqovu said while there has been a lot of talk about FRU’s decision on the matter, one must understand that Nadroga was not at the ground on time to start the match.
Tuqovu said Nadroga had agreed to play at Navuso District School ground and he does not understand why some of the senior team officials decided not to let the team play.
