Iliesa Delana’s Paralympic win will be a motivating factor for the Nadroga rugby side in their Farebrother cup challenge against Northland tomorrow.
Speaking to our sister station Viti FM, Nadroga Coach Esala Nauga victory tomorrow would be the side-s gift to Delana for his achievements.
Nauga added they were touched by Delana’s win and also the struggles he faced.
Meawhile, Northland lost 37-15 to Nadroga last year and in 2010 they drew 12 all under the leadership of Watisoni Ratulevu who is coaching the team again for this challenge.
The Stallions has been defending the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy since winning it from Naitasiri in 2009.
Nadroga will host Northland at 3pm this Saturday at Lawaqa Park and you can catch a live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
