An unknown Nadroga 7s rugby team is set to be unleashed at the Uprising Fiji International 7s this weekend.

With majority of their players in the likes of Nemani Nagusa, Semesa Gonevou, Emosi Vucago, Joeli Lutumailagi in the Fiji 7s team and the rest joining the Fiji Warriors 15s team, the coaching staff have opted to make use of most of the Under 20 players to play in Suva this weekend.

With other senior players making the team to Darwin with coach Esala Nauga, the side that will travel to the Uprising Fiji International 7s will be led by assistant coach Samu Vunaki.

Most of the players in the team played for the Nadroga Under 20 that won the Digicel Cup competition last season and they will use this tournament as a chance to show they can also follow the footsteps of their older brothers.

The Uprising Fiji International 7s kicks off on Friday at 9am with Samoa playing against Nadroga and you can catch a live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
