Nadroga has thrashed Namosi 59-24 in the Skipper Cup final at Prince Charles Park.

In a one sided encounter, Nadroga scored eight tries to three.

Setefano Somoca scored the first try for the Stallions from a pick and drive move.

Namosi captain, Risiate Tadulala replied shortly with a try in the corner.

Nadroga looked good in all aspects of the match and Sekonaia Kalou scored a try between the sticks from a lineout set piece.

Halfback, Sakiusa Gavidi got Nadroga’s third try after Apisalome Waqatabu burst through some tackles to open up Namosi’s defense.

Another set piece move saw Nadroga getting a try through Joeli Lutumailagi just before halftime as Nadroga led 28-10.

Nadroga started the second half well and Tikilaci Vuibau scored a try just in the second minute.

Aliposo Rauto managed to get the second try for Namosi after a lapse of concentration in the Nadroga defense.

Eremasi Radrodro, Sekonaia Kalou and Alivereti Veitokani scored three more tries for the Stallions.

Joji Raqamate scored the last try for Namosi but it was not enough to get them the victory.

Nadroga received $30,000 as the prize money.
