The Nadroga rugby team has maintained its unbeaten run in the Skipper Cup after thrashing Suva 31-6 under heavy conditions at Lawaqa Park this afternoon.

Nadroga now leads the points table with 18 points after round six.

The Stallions scored four tries and also retained the Dan Lobendahn Challenge Cup.

Nadroga’s tries were scored by Ilaisa Leca, Savenaca Rawaca, Apisalome Waqatabu and Setefano Somoca.

Suva’s points came from two penalties which were kicked by Mesake Druma and fullback Jone Gonewai.

Nadroga led Suva 14-3 at half time.

In other matches, Tailevu defeated Macuata 23-18, Northland beat Ovalau 7-3 and Nadi defeated Vatukoula 22-19.
