The Nadroga 15's rugby team will keep the BSP Farebrother Sullivan trophy for this season after coming from behind to force Nadi to a 15 all draw at Lawaqa park this afternoon.
It was a game of two half where Nadi led 15-nil at half-time from a penalty and tries to Vima Tuidraki and Sunia Vata.
In the second half after a strong pep talk from the Nadroga coaching staff they came back strongly with a try to Emosi Vucago and Etonia Naba with fullback Mitieli Nacagilevu kicking a penalty.
Rugby commentator, Mala Veisamasama said that Nadroga strength showed in the second half where they played as a unit until the 80th minute.
Speaking to Fijivillage sports just moments ago, Captain Tiko Matawalu said they dedicate the win to former national 15's rugby hooker Isaia Rasila who passed away last night.
The news was revealed to the Nadroga player this morning from technical adviser Ifereimi Tawake who was the captain of the last side that kept the Farebrother in 1997.
Tawake together with current head coach Esala Nauga with his assistant Samu Vunaki, Jonetani Waqa, Kini Malai and Isaia Rasila were part of the Nadroga team that last kept the Farebrother in 1997.
Rasila was also assisting the Nadroga team this week before he passed away last night.
