It was a nail biting match as Nadroga successfully defended the BSP Farebrother Sullivan trophy for the sixth time beating Naitasiri 11-10 at Lawaqa Park in the last hour.
A sellout crowd watched the two best teams in Fiji clash with the game see-sawing from one end to the other throughout the match.
But it was Jonetani Ralulu's boots which mattered in the 38th minute of the second half when he got the much need three points for the stallions.
Naitasiri were leading for sometime in the second half by 10-8 but lack of discipline cost the Highlanders from securing the second prestigious rugby trophy in Fiji.
It was Nadroga which drew the first blood in the first half through a try from Joeli Lutumailagi.
Mitieli Nacagilevu kicked a penalty for the stallions as they led 8-0 in the first half.
Naitasiri came out firing in the second spell and were awarded for their hard work as Waisale Vatuvoka got the much needed try.
But, the home side kept its patience and played solid rugby in the last ten minutes to prevent the visitors from taking the cup from Nadroga.
Nadroga will now face Nadi in the last challenge next Saturday.
