The Nadroga 15s rugby team successfully defended the BSP Farebrother Sullivan Trophy beating Suva 35-15 in the last hour.

Nadroga who are the holders of the coveted trophy will have to face seven challenges in order to successfully retain the Trophy and have so far bagged a win and a draw and are determined to win this game.

Nadroga opened the game with a try for them to lead 5-nil just minutes into the first half followed by three more penalties compared to Suva's lone penalty try.

In the second minute of the first half, Emosi Vucago set up a try after clearing the ball through Suva defense and passing to Sakiusa Navaka for the scoreboard to read 18-7.

The quick hands of Vucago also saw him cross the line again a few minutes ago for the final score to read 27- 7 for the defending champions to take a 20 point lead over the Bill Gadolo coached side.

Joeli Lutumailagi sealed the deal for the Stallions running in the winning try of the tournament in the dying minutes for the score to read 35-17.
