Nadroga rugby head coach Esala Nauga is confident his side can manage in the Skipper Cup semifinal against Suva without the services of their star players.

Some of their players that are out include Emosi Vucago, Apisalome Waqatabu, Eremasi Radrodro and Lepani Kurimudu who are away overseas for club sevens commitments.

Nauga said that Vucago and Waqatabu are in Sri Lanka for a sevens tournament while Radrodro and Kurimudu are part of the Davetalevu Sevens team that is competing in the World Club Sevens in Ireland this weekend.

Nadroga is undefeated in the Skipper Cup competition this year.

The Stallions defeated Suva 31-6 earlier this year.

The Nadroga and Suva Skipper Cup semifinal clash kicks off at 3.30pm this Saturday at Lawaqa Park.

Naitasiri will play Nadi in the second semifinal at Ratu Cakobau Park next Saturday.
