The Nadroga soccer team surprised everyone when they upset Ba 1-0 in the second round of the pool matches of the Courts IDC at the ANZ Stadium this afternoon.
Krishneel Dutt was the hero for Nadroga as he scored from an indirect free kick.
Dutt made no mistakes as his shot zoomed into the back of the net for the lone goal of the match.
The Men in Black had to play with 10 men in the dying stages of the second half after Ronald Lawrence was shown a direct red card after a dangerous play.
Nadroga has three points in Pool Two after this win while Ba is at the bottom of the table with Lautoka as both sides have one point each.
Rewa also has three points but leads Pool Two with better goal average and will play Lautoka at 5.30pm.
In Pool One, Labasa has just beaten Tailevu/Naitasiri 2-1.
Nadi will face Suva in the last match of the day at 7:30pm.
