Nadroga beat Ovalau in first Farebrother Sullivan Challenge
In the first half of the game against Ovalau, Nadroga ran in a total of five tries in the first half of their game against Ovalau.
Former Fiji rep, Aca Ratuva opened the Tournament with a try just 10 minutes after the opening whistle as he ran through a gap in the Ovalau defense.
The Defending champions though facing three sudden changes in their run on team ran in a total three tries just twenty three minutes into the first half thanks to Aca Ratuva, Vula Karatu and Seveci Taka.
The Ovalau defense was lacking in the game as Vula Karatu who ran in the second try for Nadroga took advantage of a mistake by Ovalau full back Iowane Varani to have the scoreboard read 14-nil just 17 minutes into play.
Just less than five minutes left before half time, Nadroga once again ran in two more tries to Nemani Nagusa and Joeli Lutumailagi.
The score once again Nadroga 42 and Ovalau 7.
