Nadroga aim to prevent repeat of 1979 upset to Lautoka
Coach Esala Nauga said what happened in 1979, when the sugar city boys ended Nadroga's 9 year reign as the champion rugby side in the country, is a warning to his players that they cannot take Lautoka lightly.
Nauga said that those who played in that game have visited their camp this week to motivate his boys not to take anything for granted especially against a side that boasts a proud history against them.
Meanwhile, Fiji Rugby Union development manager, Sale Sorovaki said that the approach taken by the Nadroga coaching staff shows the importance of the Farebrother to their province.
Nadroga will be defending the BSP Farebrother Sullivan trophy for the 5th time against Lautoka at 3.30pm this Saturday and you can catch a live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
