The Nadroga Rugby Union has today revealed that it has been kept in the dark on how revenue generated from local rugby competitions is distributed.

This is the reason why Nadroga Rugby has decided to take the Farebrother Sulliven challenge to Nadi’s Prince Charles Park as according to them it is more viable.

Spokesperson, Tiko Matawalu said they do not have any say in how the revenue is distributed as it is a contract between the Fiji Rugby Union and the Fiji Sports Council.

Fiji Sports Council CEO, Litiana Loabuka said they cannot bring their rates down as it is non-negotiable.

She added the council gets 25% of the revenue.

Fijivillage has obtained the payment reconciliation of the Digicel Cup final between Nadroga and Naitasiri last week where total cash collected at the ground was $91,775.

Of this $63,734.21 was given to FRU and $28,040.79 to Fiji Sports Council for their share.
