Beqa Yanuca Secondary School sprinter Saula Nadrakoro is one of the four top contenders for the Inter boys 200 and 400 metres event at this year’s Coca Cola Games.

Nadrakoro settled for silver in last year’s 400 metres final losing to Batinisavu Uluiyata of Natabua High School.

Nadrakoro was also among the five athletes who qualified on merit to compete at the IAAF World Youth Championship that was held at Ukraine last year.

He won the 400 metres Inter Boys final at the Suva Zone II with a time of 51.20 seconds.

Nadrakoro will also be featuring in the Inter-Boys 200 metres along with top bet Jacob Waqanivalu of International School Suva, Aaron Powell of Gospel High School and Apisai Dokonibonu of Nasinu Secondary School.

The games torch will be at Delana Methodist High School at 9am today before heading to Levuka Public School and Saint John’s College in the afternoon.

The Coca Cola Games is on the 25th and 26th of this month.
