Some families in Nadovi, Nadi are now looking forward for weddings and other events where they can go and get a meal for themselves.
This is after they have not received any food rations from DISMAC and other nongovernmental organisation who are carrying out relief work.
66yr old stroke patient, Kamla Prasad said his wife is going to work without any food.
Earlier in the week, DISMAC confirmed they are still conducting assessments in Nadi and will be able to come up with a report on the distribution of food rations once these have been completed.
