Fijian winger, Nemani Nadolo scored two crucial tries last night as his Crusaders team extinguished the Blues' Super Rugby playoff hopes with a physical 21-13 win in Christchurch.

Winger Nemani Nadolo was in sensational form and just did enough to ground the ball before being tackled into touch.

He was inch perfect when it mattered.

Nadolo's second try swiftly followed, Kieron Fonotia doing well to offload from the deck as the big Fijian dived over from close range.

Blues winger Frank Halai also scored a spectacular full field intercept try.

The Crusaders top the New Zealand conference, four points ahead of the Highlanders and sit second overall.

Meanwhile, the Force have kept their playoff hopes alive with a 30-20 win over the Reds, meaning the winner of their match against the Brumbies next week will progress to the playoffs.

This morning, the Sharks missed the chance to put one foot in a home semi‑final as they lost 27-20 to the Cheetahs.

In a lone match today, the Waratahs will play the Highlanders at 6.05pm.
