Nemani Nadolo’s return to the Crusaders has made a big impact as he made two line breaks in their 34-6 win over the Lions in the Super Rugby.

The Crusaders outscored the Lions by four tries to none in the contest with strong performances from returning All Blacks Dan Carter, Sam Whitelock and Kieran Read.

Meanwhile Highlanders half back Aaron Smith said that he is expecting the Waratahs to target him when they face the Super Rugby defending champions tonight.

The Waratahs have made no secret that they will be trying to disrupt the All Black half back because if they can cut off his supply of ball to the backs they stand a much greater chance of victory.

The Waratahs face the Highlanders at 6.35pm while the Reds will take on the Brumbies at 8.40pm.

Last night, Hurricanes have gone to the top of Super Rugby table with a 30‑23 win over the Blues while the Melbourne Rebels earned their second victory of the season by beating the Western Force 21‑17.
