Vodafone Flying Fijians backline player Nemani Nadolo is expected to get more game time this weekend against Wales in their second Europe tour match.
Nadolo was struggling with an injury before the match against France, but he came on at halftime and made an instant impact as he slotted in at flyhalf.
First of all he kicked a penalty from the touchline which was Fiji’s first points of the match.
Then a try from Alipate Ratini had the French looking rattled.
Nadolo missed the conversion but Fiji was back in the game.
Timoci Nagusa later ran from 80 metres out after a turnover in the Fijian 22 to score Fiji’s second try but the French had taken control of game with a brace of tries.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji 15s team arrived in Cardiff in the last hour and preparations for their second Europe tour match against Wales is expected to start from tomorrow.
Coach John Mckee said the team spent the whole day travelling and players need to take a good rest.
He has confirmed that there are no injury concerns.
