Nadi has won the Vodafone Fiji Fact title after seventeen years after beating Ba in the final by 3-1.

Rusiate Matarerega opened the account for Nadi in the 13th minute after a blunder by Ba goal keeper Jone Ralulu.


Avinesh Waran Suwamy equalised for Ba in the 36th minute.


It was Matarerega again who broke the hearts of Ba fans after scoring the second goal in the second half.


The hosts third goal was scored by Malakai Rakula.


Nadi had won the Fiji Fact for the first time in 1996 at Prince Charles Park.
 
After the match, Nadi's goal scoring machine, Rusiate Matarerega told Fijivillage that his father, Watisoni Voli a former Nadi soccer rep had motivated him to score goals in the final.


Nadi coach, Kamal Swamy said it needed a lot of sacrifice to win this match.


Matarerega was awarded the Golden boot award for scoring five goals in the tournament and Nadi goalkeeper Beniamino Mataniqara was the player of the tournament.

Nadi got a total of $30,000 as prize money. 

Fiji FA gave them $15,000 whereas Mr. Mobile company also announced that they will give another $15,000. 

Meanwhile, Rewa defeated Suva 4-1 in the 3rd and 4th place playoff. 

In the Premier Division Nasinu beat Tailevu Naitasiri 2-1 and Rakiraki walloped Lami 4-1.
