The first leg of the 2016 Pillay Garments Champion Versus Champion series between Suva and Professional Valuations Limited Nadi is all set for kick off at 7pm tonight at the ANZ Stadium.
There will be a new winner in this year’s CVC series as neither side have won the title in their previous attempts.
Last year Suva lost out to Ba in the two leg series and in 2014, arguably one of the best series Nadi lost to Ba in the third game after the first two games were drawn one-all.
Both teams are laced with some household names in Fiji soccer with Suva expected to rely on the services of players like Antonio Tuivuna, Rusiate Materereqa, Nickel Chand, Maciu Dunadamu and Jale Dreloa.
Professional Valuations Limited Nadi side will also have the likes of Munit Krishna, Napolionio Qasevakatini, Beniamino Matainaqara, Vereti Dickson and Ilimotama Jese to spearhead their quest for a first CVC title.
