The Nadi soccer team is hit by a major setback before the top of the table clash in the National Soccer league against Suva this Saturday.

Former national team keeper and the first choice Nadi keeper Beniamino Mateinaqara injured himself during the win against Labasa which has ruled him out for 3 to 4 weeks.

The 26 year old who is originally from Taveuni said he got injured after he landed badly while collecting a high ball.

He said he is hoping to recover by putting on some traditional medicine on the injured finger as he wants to play against Suva this weekend. 

Suva will play Nadi at 4pm this Saturday. 

In other matches, Ba will play Lautoka, Labasa will face Rewa while Nadroga will play Navua.
