The Nadi soccer team will book its spot for next season’s OFC Champions League if the side beats Suva this weekend in the Rewa Galaxy Premier League.

The League winner and runner-up will qualify from Fiji for the Oceania meet.

Nadi is currently leading the points table with 26 points and a win against Suva will guarantee the Jetsetters a spot in the Champions League even if the side loses its two other remaining matches against Ba and Lautoka.

This will happen because if Nadi wins this week, the side will get in a comfortable position with 29 points and only Lautoka will have the chance to topple Nadi from the first spot.

Even if Nadi loses its last two matches, the side will not slip from the second spot on the points table if the side beats Suva this week.

Other teams like Suva, Ba and Labasa will hope that Nadi loses its match this week to keep their chances alive for a spot in the OFC Champions League.

Nadi will play Suva at 3pm this Sunday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary of the match on our sister station Radio Sargam.

In other matches, Ba will play Nadroga, Labasa will host Tailevu/Naitasiri and Lautoka will take on Rewa.
