The Nadi soccer association has lodged a protest against Ba after their match ended in a nil-all draw during the National soccer league encounter last Wednesday.

The jet-setters claim that referee Rakesh Varman should have abandoned the match after he got injured half-way through the match rather than getting another referee to replace him.

The match was stopped for 30 minutes and Nadi soccer said referees should have only waited for 10 minutes and called off the match but instead the match went ahead.

Fiji FA, Chief Executive, Bob Kumar said they have received the protest and the decision is expected next week, but at this stage Ba will represent Fiji at the O-League playoff's.
