Nadi is currently leading the medal tally in the girls division at the FMF Chow games with one gold, one silver and one bronze.

Nadi’s Merewai Cumu won the gold in the girls Under-14 1,500 meters race.

Bua is second with one gold, one silver in the girls division.

Bua’s Mereseni Sikowale snatched the gold medal in the U-12 girls 1500m, the silver medal went to Liku Tamanivalu from Kadavu and Debra Jean of Nadi took the bronze medal.

In the Under 13 girls 1500m, Asena Lelea of Cakaudrove took the gold medal and Adi Maopa Tabualovoni of Bua took the silver while Vasemaca Beqa of Nadi took bronze.

Meanwhile, there is a tie in the boys division.

Nadroga/Navosa and Bua are tied at first place with 1 gold and 1 silver, while Cakaudrove and Macuata have 1 bronze each in the boys division.

Coming up at 1:15pm is the finals in the 75 metres and at 1:35pm is the 200 metres finals where Joe Tabakaucoro, Banuve Tabakaucoro’s brother will be taking part.
