The Nadi rugby team has managed to defend the Farebrother Sullivan Cup for third time in a row.

The jet-setters although failing to cross Northland's tryline but won the match by 12 points to 6.

All the points in today's encounter came through penalties. Nadi kicked four penalties while Northland had two.

It seems that Nadi will now have to work more harder for their next challenge match against Naitasiri next week.

Final score Nadi 12 - Northland 6.

Meanwhile, Malolo has won the B-division final over Ba. They won the match by 17 points to 16 and will now face Tavua in the promotion and relegation series.

The winner of Tavua and Malolo will next year play in the Major division.
