Nadi behind Fiji 7s team
Speaking on behalf of the Tui Nawaka Ponipate Lesavua said the whole of Nadi is behind the Fiji team especially when their very own, the coach Iliesa Tanivula and Co-Captains Semisi Naevo and Vereniki Goneva are leading the team.
Lesavua said the Vanua is positive that the Melrose Cup is coming to Fiji to stay and the chiefs have given their blessings and prayers.
Coach Iliesa Tanivula is from Namotomoto village while Naevo is from Nawaka and Vereniki Goneva is from Nagado, near Sabeto.
The Fiji Rugby World Cup Sevens team is the talk of the town right now, whether they'll win, whether they're fast enough, whether they've got discipline or not and whether they'll keep the Melrose Cup.
Fijivillage took to the streets and asked people who they thought would win the Rugby World Cup and here is what they had to say.
