The Nadi Weather office has predicted more heavy rainfall for the Central and Eastern Division of Viti-Levu and Vanualevu.
Duty Forcaster, Samisoni Waqavakatoga said a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains slow moving over the Fiji group.
For Navua, Suva, Nausori, further rain, heavy at times with possible thunderstorms is expected for today.
He adds further that rain, heavy at times with a few squally thunderstorms are expected over Kadavu, Lau and Lomaiviti group and the interior and eastern parts of larger islands.
The Nadi Weather Office saidElsewhere, cloudy periods with few showers in the afternoon or evening.
Weather is expected to improve by Sunday.
