The Nadi Town Council is embarking on a beautification project trying to uplift the image of Nadi Town so that it remains one of the best tourist destinations in the country.
Speaking to FijiVillage, Nadi Town Mayor Timoci Koroiqica said they would like to attract more tourists to their town and work on this has already started.
He added that they had a meeting with the business community on Wednesday where they discussed improving their facilities.
Koroiqica also added that the biggest problem they are facing at the moment is asphalt, which is no longer available to them which results in them ordering it from Lami which costs them a lot.
