Flood waters in Nadi town have not risen in the main town and according to Nadi Mayor Timoci Koroqica, people should not relax as rain continues.
He added that the curfew is still on in Nadi town.
However, Nadi businessman Riyaz Ali said people in Nadi are preparing for the worst and are stocking up on essentials to prevent a repeat of last week.
Meanwhile, Namaka resident Asaeli Moce said they are closely monitoring the situation as the heavy downpour continues this morning.
Malawai, Votualevu, resident Maciu Goneva said with the rain continuing, there is a real threat of a repeat of last week's flooding.
