Nadi residents are pleading with the Interim Government to see into the operation of the Public Works Department in Nadi as they are in dire need of water.
Speaking to Fijivillage news, Nadi resident, Dinesh Pillay said the authorities are not attending to their needs and are just giving lame excuses.
Pillay adds the foul smell in the jet-set town is unbearable and it is a sore sight to see residents running around all over the place to get drinking water and most are being forced to do their laundry in the rivers.
Pillay adds that it is nothing to go without electricity, but they desperately need water to "clean up" and bring the town back to its original state.
