Some residents of Nadi are concerned over water cuts in their area for the last three days.
Riaz Ali a resident of Waqadra said his children have not gone to school today as they do not have enough water to prepare themselves.
He said his water tank has also dried up and no water trucks are also carting water.
Meanwhile, Nadi Water Foreman, Govind Swami Naicker confirms that there are two broken main pipes, one at Votualevu and the other at Namaka which has caused the water disruption. He said the engineers will work on the pipes today and water supply is expected to normalize by early this afternoon.
