Nadi Police are looking for three men who got away with more than $41,000 of Jacks Fiji Limited's takings which was being brought from Denerau to the head office in Nadi yesterday morning.

Assistant Police Spokesperson Corporal Josaia Weicavu confirms three masked men armed with cane knives stopped the Jacks vehicle on the way to Nadi and demanded the cash from the employees of Jacks.

They smashed the windscreen and side mirror of the car and also injured one of the employees.

The robbers then fled in a white car which is yet to be located.

Meanwhile, Nausori Police have taken three men into custody who were found in possession with three garbage bags of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

Corporal Weicavu confirms the leaves are worth more than $20,000. The three were arrested in the Nausori highlands on Sunday morning after a tip-off. They are expected to be charged once the analysis report of the leaves is received.
