The Nadi rugby sides are confident as the Milo Kaji tournament kicks off today.

This is after the Ratu Navula College Under 18 side visited the 124 Kaji players representing Nadi at Prince Charles Park yesterday with the Deans trophy before they left for Suva.

Nadi Manager Kavekini Tanivanuakula said their players faces lit up when they saw the Coke Zero Deans trophy and were reminded by the Ratu Navula players that anything is possible.

Tanivanuakula added morale in camp is high after Ratu Navula created history last Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.

Last year Nadi won the Under 10 grade while their Under 12 drew with Suva in the Under 12 final.

The jet set town’s Under 13 side lost to Suva in last year’s final and majority of the players are part of the Under 14 team this year.

Over 3,000 Primary School students will take part in this year’s Kaji tournament which will be held over four days and will feature 28 districts from around the country including newcomers Namuka-i-Lau.

The Milo Kaji tournament will kick off at the ANZ Stadium at 12pm today.
