A Nadi family has lost a loved one after a 43-year-old van driver of Votualevu died in a road accident last night.
According to Police, at around 10.30pm the man was driving home through Nadi Back Road when he lost control of his vehicle, at which point the car went off the road, hitting a culvert.
He was taken to Nadi Hospital, however, was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police believe the accident was caused due to speeding.
