Residents of Nadi were shocked after experiencing a hail storm at around 3 o'clock this afternoon and it lasted for close to an hour.
A resident of Nadele, Sabeto, Nadi, Kisun Dayal told Fijivillage that when heavy rain started, she could hear something pounding heavily on the roof of their home and when she looked outside, she saw hail.
The duty forecasters at the Nadi Weather Office confirmed there was a severe thunder storm at around 3pm which made conditions possible for a hail storm.
There are no reports of any damages.
This is the second hail storm reported this week due to the adverse weather conditions.
