The curfew imposed in Nadi Town has been lifted.

Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni said the decision to lift the curfew comes after consultations with the National Command Centre at the Central Police Station in Suva on the receding water level in Nadi.

He stresses that although the curfew has been lifted, police will still continue to monitor the situation.

Meanwhile, Nadi police say no one was arrested for trying to cross the town during the curfew last night.
