Nacagilevu in doubt
Nacagilevu sustained serious neck injury while playing for the Digicel Fiji Barbarians against Army in the final of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7's tournament yesterday afternoon.
Fiji 7's team selectors have picked Nacagilevu in the 16 member squad for the Hong Kong 7's but his selection in the final 12 member team will now depend on the Doctors report.
The 15 other players who have been picked in the Digicel Fiji 7's squad include Apisai Nayabo, Jimilai Naikadawa, Timoci Vakadranu, Setefano Cakau, Lepani Botia, Nemani Nagusa and Waisea Nayacalevu in the forwards.
While the backline players consists of Joji Ragamate, Ilai Tinai, Sikeli Vuruna, Joeli Lutumailagi, Mitieli Nacagilevu, Avinisi Vasinubu, Nikola Matawalu, Metuisela Talebula and Simeli Tagea.
The twelve member National 7's team for the Hong Kong and Japan sevens leg will be announced on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Army Green defended the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s title for second year in the row after beating the much favourites Fiji Barbarians side by 24-12 in the final.
In the Shield final - Red Rock 1 beat Marist Red 36-12 while in the bowl final Wardens Green beat Ratu Filise 17-7.
In the plate final Wardens Gold beat Police 22-17.
