Digicel Fiji 7s training squad members William Ryder and Lepani Nabuliwaqa will not be selected for the 12 member team to the Mini Games, but coach Iliesa Tanivula has a long term plan for both players.
Tanivula said it is unfortunate that the duo will not be part of his team to the Cook Islands, because they have already submitted the names on the 23rd of July as required by FASANOC.
However, he revealed that both Nabuliwaqa and Ryder like the other players who will miss the selection in the Fiji team to the Mini Games, will be part of his squad in the IRB 7s Series season.
Co-captain Emosi Vucago and Nasoni Roko are expected to join the team in camp at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua this afternoon.
