The Nabukalou creek in Suva has burst its banks with water now flowing into shops along Greig Street.
Our reporter Roneel Lal said the high tide is exceptionally high and the river has burst its banks along a small section just behind the MHCC complex.
Water is at the doorstep of 8 shops along the road while it has entered a Takeaway.
Water has also flowed into the Downtown Boulevard car park and along the rear entrance of MHCC.
