Mervyn Nabuka will become the first Fijian to be selected as an umpire in the Imparja Cup which is Australia's National Indigenous cricket tournament.

Mervyn was selected as a part of the International Cricket Council's, East Asia Pacific Region's Umpire Scholarship Program.
 
He will be one of two umpires from the EAP region officiating at the event.

Nabuka will depart for Australia on Saturday before the tournament starts on Sunday.
