Despite all the speculation, Nadroga lad Etonia Naba has retained the captaincy duties for the National sevens team.
Naba will once again lead the team in Wellington and San Diego and will be assisted by veteran Neumi Nanuku as the vice-captain.
Meanwhile, Coach Joe Savou has named three new caps in Isei Lewaqai, Taniela Rawaqa and Sakenaca Aca as non-travelling reserves in the team that will prepare for the Wellington and San Diego leg of the IRB series.
The Wellington 7s will be held on February 1-2.
